The last visit , 2018

From the places where the boys used to go and be, all of them were still there 60 years later: the train station, the place where the Paranaíba river passed, the mother's house and the Gameleira tree.

There were just no more trains or rivers. The mother is no longer alive and the house, one of the many where she has lived, no longer has its doors open.

The Gameleira tree that once seemed so far away is still there, giant, now closer to everything or everything was getting closer to it. So close that it no longer sheltered the couples who were went to date in hiding and no longer had the same mystery that used to feed the horror stories of Três Ranchos.
